Treasures of the Earth

Located just across the road from Ravenswood House is Treasures of the Earth, housing one of Europe’s most unique collection of Crystals, Gemstones and Fossils. Explore their cave simulations including a UV cave with magically changing colour crystals. As well as, caverns and mining scenes there is something for everyone to enjoy.

They have an amazing collection of Fossils which even includes some Dinosaur poo! Some of the collections are over 500 million years old from ancient amber to even a sabre-tooth tiger skull.

Also learn about the history of the Scottish Gold Rush and the largest Gold Nugget ever discovered.

End your tour in their gift shop where you will find gemstone jewellery, stone carvings, fossils and agate book ends.
