Steall Waterfall

Put on your best walking shoes and explore the area surrounding Steall Waterfall, Scotland’s second-highest waterfall. The falls, featuring a single drop of 120 m (390 ft), can best be seen from the path running through the Nevis Gorge.

The path is clear and well marked, with just a few rougher sections easily crossed in good footwear. As you walk through this wilderness area noted for its diverse plant and animal life, take a little time to enjoy the blossoming flowers and the cascading streams of clear water. Upon reaching the famous waterfall, test your balance by crossing the river on the steel rope bridge. Bring lots of bug repellant, waterproof clothes, and don’t forget to charge your camera.
